What's new

Just got this from ebay

Thanks. I think I will restore it. I was pretty surprised that I won the auction an 4 dollars. I am excited!

yeah, very good price.

if its your first restore check out the DIY resto link in my sig & PM me if you have any issues and I might be able to offer some advice

A little bit of heavy honing at the toe and some pitting that looks to be mostly relegated to the tang. Otherwise looks like a good shaver. Should be a nice one once you get it honed, and the price is right. Slick black scales aren't the most interesting or rare scales out there, but I consider them one of the best functionally. They seem much MUCH more resistant to warping than celluloid. Don't seem to chip or crack like natural materials, and maybe it's in my head, but they seem MUUUUUUUCH less likely to have problems with the razor swinging loose or wiggling than anything else.

Larkin Co of Buffalo, New York- eBay reference is all could find. No dates of operation.

On SRP some say they are quite good, others say not exceptional.

Just got the razor in the mail yesterday. Has a crack in the blade that goes about 1/4 of the way up. It should still serve as a good practice blade, I would think. At least it was only a few bucks.
