Thanks, I'm my own best model. My kids get tired of me taking pictures of them so I bust out the tripod and light stands, mount up some speedlights with wireless triggers and pose like a fool. Self portraits are good practice when models are non existent.

IMO the ink on you arm *really* gives the photo the one thing it needs to truly stand out.

I remember when I was little, I had loads of shirts with those buttons, and I thought they were made of mentholatum! hehe.
 
I agree about your colorful arm adding to the picture.

Is that the Ace pocket comb with the teeth identical all the way across? Not split thick on half, fine on half, like the typical pocket comb? I don't see the former kind in stores anymore, and it's what I carry in my back pocket.
 
It's definitely the ink, and to a lesser extent the facial hair, that make the photo.

The ink and facial hair lead you to think "criminal", but the buttoned shirt, glasses and the action of combing your hair break the stereotype.
