What's new

Just a silly thought.

from this day forward keeping a photo scrapbook (on the computer of course) of all my shaving related purchases. along with the date acquired and price paid. Where it was purchased too (website, antique store, ect.)

idk....maybe im just crazy bored.

That's a great idea, see the evolution of your personal shaving history. Your great grand children will get a hold of it and be shocked at the low prices you paid.

You're not married, are you!!??

I keep a spreadsheet on my google drive with all the info of shaving related purchases and sales. It helps me keep accountable to my wife and keeps me aware of how much money I am spending. I broke the list into three categories: Razors, Hardware (brushes, blades, gear), and Software (soap, AS...) with totals.

The spreadsheet is really good because I can keep track of all the information of when I purchased it and if I sold it to whom, when, where, and how much.

Also I do alot of yard saling so I keep track of those purchases/sales as well. That is good because I can keep track of what items I need to sell and what I want to keep. I will admit I have a tool AD as well and frequent the garage journal... In fact a post on garage journal about somebody finding a fat boy in the wild piqued my interest a bit into DE traditional shaving.

I keep a spreadsheet also; but I do NOT list prices. I list characteristics and give a general rating of buy sell. My wife has mentioned that she might get some Christmas ideas from the list; thus, no recorded price history. :ninja:

goodness no! but i'll remember to delete all the prices if i do get married one day.

for now i just created a folder called "shaving supplies" and a sub folder for October 2012 where i put all the pictures for this month and i just change the name of the photo to something like "$3 Amazon.jpg". then i'll create another folder for September and so on. for now anyway.
