June 2019 Challenge: Coils, Curves and Helixes

Hi fellow shaving photogs,

This challenge looks at different ways of expressing the theme 'Coils, Curves and Helixes'. Could be a coiled rope in the back yard, a spiral staircase, a leafy tendril snaking up a wall, a plate of fusilli lightly dusted with parmesan...up to you. Bon appetit!

The rules this month are the same as usual:

• winner of the previous months challenge picks new theme and starts thread.
• You must be the photographer.
• One entry per month.
• Try and make the image a recent one.
• Competition runs until the 19th of the Month.
• Voting runs from the 20th - 26th.
• The person with the most votes is the winner.

Here's what I came up with. I think I needed a Polarizing filter, or maybe just not to use the flash, or find a better angle. Probably should have looked closer while I was shooting. Out of time so can't redo it so here it is.
