It appears that I'm not allergic to TGQ Cavendish Black after all (so far)!

I had used it once before and ended up with an itchy red face. After tonight's usage there isn't anything at all. I guess I just had a tough first shave with this cream and overreacted.

Hooray for trying the same thing again expecting different results!!

A related tale...the first time I used Mitchell's Wool Fat, I seemed to have get a chemical burn. As a result, I didn't use it again for a year or more. Now I have to live with all the wonderful shaves I might have had.

It always makes sense to give a product a fair chance-especially once your technique is bettered. You never know what you may find that's the bee's knees.
