John Doe Safety Razor

Hi everyone,

Today I was helping my friend in his old basement and I spotted an old safety razor down there. He gave it to me as a gift.

I was hoping someone can help me identify it because it doesn't have any markings on it. It just has Made in England imprinted on it's head.

Sure looks like an aluminum-handle Tech.

It reminded me of Tech too and handle is very light. I also think it's made out of aluminum, the screw on the head is little bit worn out.

It's definitely a later model Tech. For whatever reason, the British plant seems to have stopped marking the underside of the heads on their later models. See the below that has nothing but a date code on the diamond stamped portion:
