Jasmine!

What is a good scent with a strong jasmine presence?

I understand it is an element of many scents, but I'm looking for something more focused on the jasmine. Not straight jasmine, though; I do have some EO and Grey Goose if the desire arises.

It is not the most masculine thing around, but I tend to wear things that make me happy at the possible expense of other people, e.g. Pinaud Clubman.

Thanks!

I love jasmine as well. Unfortunately, I am not as adventurous as you. A few that I like that come to mind are:

Floris Night Scented Jasmine
Jo Malone White Jasmine and mint
Helmut Lang Eau de Cologne - This is actually a masculine cologne with jasmine

You could try Josef Statkus Eau de Cologne. It is primarially an incense frag, but jasmine is there and distinct. The jasmine might be my favorite aspect of the frag.

I'm not sure if these would work for you but I like the Pacifica brand tahitian gardenia solid perfume. It is a mix of essential oils of jasmine, orange flowers, and ylang ylang. It also comes in a traditional spray and a bar soap. They also have one called Tunisian Jasmine but I have not smelled it. If you go to their website they have a store locator option. Your local vendor should have testers out for you to try.

Truefitt & Hill Trafalgar has jasmine with a pronounced cedar/cumin note to balance it out. It's a very distinctive fragrance, but overall it works well.

Christian Dior's Eau Sauvage would be a natural choice. It opens with a citrusy head, but once the heart settles in, you get nice sniffs of jasmine shrouded in drier, woodsy tones, such as vetiver. It's got recognizable jasmine scent (thanks to the Hedione molecule), but it's not a floral by any means.

Eminently wearable, something nobody would find offensive, and which invites repeated sniffs. Comforting, yet light.

Thé pour un été by L'Artisan Parfumeur is a very nice and fresh, but rather light jasmine scent. One of the purest jasmine frags I know of.

Underworld by Soivohle is a great mixture of vetiver, jasmine & rose resting on a smokey, leathery base. All-natural and expensive but holy crap does it smell good! :thumbup1:

I often use a Yardley Jasmine talc, which has a very nice and pure jasmine scent. I agree that there is not enough jasmine featured in scents!

If you could lay your hands on a vintage bottle of Guerlain Samsara, preferably in the edp formulation, you'd get exactly what you want. Heaps of jasmine with some heavenly mysore sandalwood. It's a tad feminine but that's the inherent nature of jasmine, IMO.

The vintage bottles of Samsara are the clear, transparent bottles as opposed to the currently formulated juice that comes in red bottles.

I may be off the track here but I think the #74 by Taylor of Old Bond Street has a strong jasmine accord if memory of reviews serves.
