Still in

Razor: R41-SLOC
Blade: Crystal (12)
Brush: Hans Baier Silvertrip
Shaving Cream: TOBS Sandalwood
Aftershave: TOBS Sandalwood

The blade is still cutting, maybe I chose the wrong blade for OBiF.

Looks like aluminium to me. If I remember correctly until R-2 (1971) all were aluminium. In R-3 there are both aluminium and nickel plated brass. Later ones are only brass necks.
Lol not that I am dating myself but its an M-1 so that would make it aluminium! Thanks for the info! I learned something new today!

Still in almost seeing the end of the tunnel

Prep : warm shower / Bulldog original face wash
Pre shave : Proraso Blue

Day 28, 90.3% complete.

Preshave: Hot washcloth
Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
Brush: Yaqi 24mm synthetic cashmere
Razor: GC.68 OC, Ti Handle, Boots #3
Razor: GC.68 SB, Al Handle, Astra SP #6
Bowl: Turkish copper
Post-shave: Nivea Balm, Hyaluronic Acid.

Used dual Game Changers again, and got another textbook shave: BBS face, good clean neck shave, no irritation.

I like the SV soaps a lot, but seem to get lucky when I'm using MWF.

Still in.

I shaved late last night with the Mutton Tallow soap from Stirling and Oh boy, it is definitely more thirsty and slick than the Beef tallow.
It could be the excitement of using a new soap or my perception is skewed due to all the praise Mutton Tallow has received, I'll see the Port Au Prince for the next few shaves just to be sure of its outstanding performance.

Blackland Blackbird OC
Feather blade
Proraso Professional boar
Stirling Port Au Prince
Witch Hazel, Oatmeal Moisturizer as Aftershave

BBS results, very comfortable shave.

Still in. Continuing with the Yaqi Mellon & Personna Lab Blue (3). Another great shave. The Mellon is a excellent razor, especially at it's price point. Mild yet efficient. I think it would make a great starter razor for someone as the price is good and you would have to try to cut yourself to do so. The Proraso Wood & Spice is getting to end, so probably sometime first week of February it'll be done. The Simpson Trafalgar rounds out the gear.

Still in!

The vintage Polsilver Stainless is a stunning blade, I won't stop to mention it. It's become one of if not the most favourite blade of mine. So smooth yet sharp - and lasting.

Today, I shaved with the Progress on setting 2.5 wtg and cranked it up to 4 in the atg pass. BBS all over. This blade was so smooth I hardly could feel it. Lovely.

Happy shaves!
