Just saw the new Bond flick Skyfall. It was pretty good, and fun to see him lather up with a badger brush and get shaved with a straight by a hot chick.:thumbup:

I wonder if more people will try out straight shaving after seeing the film? Not bad publicity IMHO.

Go see it!

I thought it was a great movie--one of the better Bond's. But I was wondering if Craig knows how to use a straight--he didn't actually do any razor strokes--the Bond girl did the entire shave.

Two thumbs up and I'm not a Bond afficianado. My wife rolled her eyes when Bond pulled out the brush! I was busted.

I didn't get the feeling that Daniel Craig uses a brush on a daily basis, and it looked like his face was dry as he applied the lather.

Dug the Macallan reference, too!

I saw Skyfall this evening - not the best Bond effort IMHO - YMMV though!

The shaving scene was neat though. Craig appeared to be using a badger brush, but applied the lather to his dry face. The best part of the scene was watching the lovely vixen shave him with the straight.

I am excited to see the movie soon, I saw part of the shaving scene in the trailer.

Will it promote straight shaving? Maybe. AOS might see a spike in sales when a few men decide to try out a straight shave.
Will they stick with it? Who knows... The learning curve of shaving/maintaining a SR is what keeps the community fairly small.
