All you need to know about the Roger Moore Bond is the three films that made use of American Motors vehicles. I love that river jump, and my Father worked his whole life in Canada (almost) for AMC, but those cars SUCKED.
For me there is only Roger Moore. End of story. He was supreme.
I too like the Dynamite series, but really enjoy the reprints of the old London Daily Mail strip that adapted the novels and then struck out with their own stories. it predates the movies so stays quite a bit more faithful to the books. That said, the newer Anthony Horowitz novels are really good (IMO).After Connery's run i've only really like Brosnan's "Die another day" and Craig's "Skyfall", that being said, i'm probably alone on this one but i really like the James Bond Comic by Warren Ellis, now that's the Bond i want to see in films:

I don't know what made me cringe more - LeChiffre torturing Bond in the bottomless chair in Casino Royale, or Skyfall, where Silva was getting a little too close and comfortable with Bond during their first meeting. I honestly had to look away from that scene.Craig takes the role to a new level. He is the grittiest Bond by far. The fight scenes look pretty realistic (and brutal and painful as well). I like Connery quite a bit too, though.
That doesn’t look like Timothy Dalton.Check out my avatar though for a reminder if you're confused about which one was the best.
I think Dalton could have been a great Bond. A lot of things conspired against him, the Brosnan thing hurt his initial chances, and then he got held up by studio financial troubles. He's got Craig's darkness, just a couple decades too early. That doesn’t look like Timothy Dalton.
Looks even LESS like Daniel Craig. Dalton is the bronze medal Bond, imo. But that is why these discussions are so grand. That doesn’t look like Timothy Dalton.
Yes, he did - one of my favorite Connery movies is The Hunt for Red October.I'm glad Connery got out of Bond to try and avoid typecasting. He made some good movies after.
completely agree, one of the top 3 Bond movies for me.I think License to Kill is criminally under-rated in the canon.
couldn't understand a word he said in it and im fluent in Russian then someone said he was a Scottish sub commander well that explains it ..Yes, he did - one of my favorite Connery movies is The Hunt for Red October.
