Jack black brush?

Has anyone used it? I might be getting one soon and I'm curious as to whether or not it's actually worth the $85 sticker price.

Softness? Backbone? Size? Shedder? Anyone have any experience with this brush?

It's the first brush I owned. I assume you know that it's a synthetic brush? It's a nice started brush, but for $85, IMO it's overpriced....there are many other better options (at least for me). I currently own 4 brushes (Saville row 3722, RV custom with 23mm D01 knot, Simpson Case, and Simpson X2L Manchurian), and I have not touched my Jack Black in 2 years. It's a soft brush, the backbone is decent, it doesn't shed, but it is a large knot.

I have one. I like it, but I think it IS overpriced.

Never shed a hair.
It is very soft, with a springy feeling backbone. It has a weird way of releasing water. I use it to bowl lather creams.
It is made in china, so I would have NEVER bought it for myself.

Thanks for the info, gentlemen. I just won one in a group auction and was curious as to its actual value because I don't plan on keeping it. (I have a HIS Synthetic)
