Jack Black Brush....can you face-lather with it?

Yeah, I know it's expensive. But I'm interested in owning a synthetic that allows for face lathering. This seems to be the only synthetic on the market with any sort of density to it but I'm really wondering how good it is with face-lathering because I don't use a bowl at all anymore. Hopefully I cvan get an opinion from someone who has used both it and badgers?

I owned one for a long time, as far as synthetics go, its a great one for face lathering. I liked the box that came with it, handy as a stand as well as for travel.

The one I've tried (an Omega) has very little stiffness when wet. But synthetic bristles make amazing lather and are softer than most silvertips. So if a dense synthetic with backbone exists, I'll be all over it.

I have been using a Jack Black Pure Performance brush for several months now and nearly always face lather, using shave soaps, not creams. Works great for me, I really like the brush. Nice and dense head, cleans and dries easily and yes, the box cum stand works well too. Expensive but recommendable, IMO. :thumbup1:
