What's new

J.M. Fraser's

I haven't tried any of the other scents, but I have Mosswood and I love the smell. Whichever scent you get, try to get the matching Booster's AS.

Get the Mosswood shaving cream and the A/S. it is the best scent they have, imho. Oriental Spice is good too..

Of course, "The Enabler" will send you samples and you'll end buying them all anyway. Maybe you should just order them now and save on the shipping?

Scents are one of the few things I really can't describe. I just know that I like them.

In my case the Mosswood smells fresh, clean and crisp. Like morning in an unspoiled forest.

Yeah totally :) i love mosswood ,
lathers great too

think of camping in a forest and waking up and crawling out of your tent after the morning dew :) earlthy and obviously mossy , very very nice

i dont know what the oriental spice is like though, gonna have to try it,

All of them are excellent, but the original is the best value IMO. You get a tub twice the size, for about the same price as the other scents. The original has a sweet lime scent, which I enjoy. It won't linger after the shave is over, it just wakes me up in the morning. Same scent as the Iced Lime booster.

Oriental Spice is somewhat watered down version of Old Spice. OK if you get a deal, but don't go crazy trying to get it.

Polar Ice is a cologne type scent, reminds me of classic barbershop smell. It's the only Booster scent with glycerine. Very slightly mentholated.

Mosswood I haven't tried yet, but based on previous comments it sounds like I should!

Yeah definitely try mosswood, :)

MoreSaltThanPepper gave me a sample tub, and i love it, i have never tried the booster aftershaves, but, i think if i like the oriental spice as much as i like the mosswood , and the booster aftershaves are good i could have found my go to once i run out of all the soaps and creams i have accumulated

you could always order i from RasagePoulin.com, though its in my neck of the woods :)

hows the polar ice? ive always wondered, is it like proraso type or what? or is it like a aqua velva type ?

Fraser's Original got bumped as the daily both at home and the shop by Real Shaving Company Sensitive. It didn't get bumped so hard that it's living under the bathroom sink though and I still use it at least once a week. As posted above, I think this stuff is one of the best values going when it comes to shave creams. Great quality in a simple cream at an excellent price. You won't go wrong with any of them.

Regards,

Les
