I just took the plunge with the first shave last night. I have a square point, and that thing is pretty wicked if you don't keep a very close eye on where it's going. It got me a few times. Other than that, keep adding a little water to the cream on your face as you move around. My first shave took so long it would dry out quickly. That's my $.02.

Don't be nervous. Be confident. You know it's possible, you know it will offer the best shave you ever get, you know it's going to be great fun, at the very least you know it's going to be an experience. Just relax, read the info out there and you will be fine.

theryre not that dangeroud, and you dont need to worry about honing just yet. Concentrate on stropping and good technique for now.

It depends on how often it was used before he bought it. It might need to be honed, but if it does he would still be better off sending it off to be honed for the first time, so you're right he probably shouldn't worry about honing it.

It would appear that the seller has had items go missing once posted so he won't take the
