What's new

It’s official, the final nail

I’ll just let the image speak for itself

Who dat?

And how did I know that, not recognizing the name or the face, it was going to be a Cohiba?

Dat one of the Jonas Brothers, who have been A Thing in pop music for more than a decade. They're A-listers.

Of course, I primarily know this because I have teenage daughters who watched Disney Channel when these guys (they are a trio of brothers now in their 20s) were on TV constantly. Apparently trying to show that they're full grown adults now.

Say what you will, but Nick Jonas has been a pretty prolific Cuban cigar smoker. So I dont really think its just a thing for the magazine.

If he smoked a pipe I would say “so what?” Even if he is just a poser, it does not affect my enjoyment. Heck, some may say that millennials are helping the recent increase in pipe makers that we now enjoy.

Is that a smoking jacket he is wearing?

Nah, it's his pajama robe.

You do have a point, Owen. Some millenmials are fine upstanding people, but some are....

OMG...my latte is cold.

I'm sure my grandmother had a pantsuit made from a similar material. But . . . what is old is new again.

Sadly...the final nail (in the coffin),...I mean I ain't got nothing against Jonas, but he's soooo young (when did he make his 'cigars bones'?),...is this best that CA can do

My first cigar was one that my uncle bought me when I was 18- a Hoyo de Monterey Excalibur #1. It is still my “go to” stick.

Same could be said of my generation or any other.

I do believe it’s the younger generation who are keeping wet shaving, pipe smoking and other past times alive, which 90% of my generation don’t care for.

By the way I am the last batch of generation X.

CA came out the year I was graduating high school and going into the Navy. It was a very important part of my cigar journey. Here are some of my favorites (way to many to list them all)
