Just received my Rooney style 2 small size in super silvertip. All I've done so far is wash it with shampoo and conditioner to get it ready for use. It looks like its going to be a great brush, and now I wonder why I waited so long to get a Rooney? We'll see how it stacks up to my others, Kent BK4, Edwin Jagger, Shavemac, and Vulfix. From the looks of it its going to be a great brush. Anyone out there find that to be true from the ones I've listed?

It is a great brush, and completely different in feel from the Shavemac 177 I have. It's a bit more scritchy on the tips than the Shavemac, but has great backbone. It is great with creams and even better with soaps. You'll really enjoy it.

Love the aesthetics of the style 2. Don't own one, but would like to. Hopefully we'll see some comments from owners here; particularly in regards to how it stacks up against the others you mentioned.

Used the brush for the first time today. Man, what a brush. I mean it was really super and I believe it'll be my go to brush for most of my shaves. If anyone is thinking of getting this one, I'd rate it at 200%. I thought my Kent BK4 was great, but this Rooney has it beat. Thats just my thoughts on the matter.
