While I've been a member of B&B since 2009, I haven't been on here in a really long time. I thought I'd post in here since I'm relearning a lot. I guess what's changed is I got divorced and can focus on things that make me happy instead of worrying about making my insufferable ex-wife happy. Thankfully, I've kept up on wet shaving over the years. I'm actually still working through my stash from 13 years ago. I've got a SR3118 and a Merkur 38C as my daily. I mostly use Col Conk Almond for soap as I don't want to touch my prized Crabtree & Evelyn Nomad and Sandalwood soaps. My son, who was 2 years old when I started this is now 15 years old. I'm thinking about buying a QED 26mm silvertip brush and giving him my SR3118 with a Gillette 1957 Super Speed that I don't really use much of anymore. He's always been fascinated by the ritual of wet shaving and I know he'd take good care of them. Well it's good to be back on here. It's sad, though, to see all of the people who have gone to the great barbershop in the sky.
