Passports, a man should always have his passport. You never know if an opportunity for work or fun will come up that will need you to leave your country and hit the high seas.

Darn! I was going to say passport and you got there about five weeks before me! Okay, howzabout a complete shot record? There are some places you don't wanna go without your yellow fever being up to date!

a decent calculator
Multimeter
Jumper Cables

though I suppose these things could fall under "a complete toolbox"

speaking of hydraulic lifts ..... everyman that works on their own vehicle should own at least a 2 - 4 ton hydraulic jack.... ask me how I know ...ok I'll tell you , so there I am under my car smart enough to be using stands as well as my jack and the hydraulic cylinder busted barely enough strength to lift my car back up to lower the stands before it totally crapped the bed..... guess what I bought today ? yup a new jack.
