Item of the Week 10/21 - Old Spice

Hello to all.

This will be the thirty fourth in a series of "item of the week" threads that I am promoting in the general shave discussion forum.
The rules:

1. It is very simple. Use the item of the week for the week that it is scheduled and post your thoughts on that item in its thread.
2. Everything else in your shave line-up may be rotated at will, but keep the featured item of the week as part of each shave.
3. The weeks will start on Monday and end on Saturday. Sunday could be a free day, or an overlap day for the next week or whatever.

The thirty fifth featured item of the week will be Old Spice.

I am saving my old bottle of OS, but I will use my Dollar Store clone all this week. I hope this counts.

Today I used my Old Spice mug with the original Old Spice puck that came with it. It's a nice soap I've had for years. That's because I was not really into wet shaving until recently. The puck will finally get used up this year.

Oh, if deodorant works I'm good all week. I'm sure I'll use the AS a couple of times too. Plus I have a Bootlegger's Bay Rum/Old Spice mix that I have been loving lately.

Right on. I just got a new one yesterday. "Danger Zone". Before that I used the "Playmaker". I love the cheezey names they come up with for these deodorants.

I'm all over this one. Deodorant, aftershave, cologne, soap and mug are all in my shave den.

I use OS deodorant and AS every day anyway......

Wife likes it.......I'm not complaining.......not one bit!!!

Ok, I can play, er shave, Sunday evening.
Stopped at Walmart that morning and got a (plastic) bottle of 'original' OS AS.
I recall my Dad using this stuff!
Seemed to pair well with Proraso Red for this evening and the vintage Everready restored with new badger knot.
First pass with Feather AC DX; next with T&H DE.
After, hot washcloth rinse, then cold washcloth soaked with the OS A/S.
Exactly. Now the OS lingers in the den, same as dad's.

I love old spice. I'm using the deodorant as well as the aftershave (original) ,the cream though ,I'm not too impressed by that.

I am in as well. I will take a week off from Tabactober and I will use my Old Spice shave soap and Old Spice cologne.
