Iso custom handle for Gillette slim twist

I have an old English slim twist that shaves great, but I don't use it to often because of the cheap plastic handle. I don't have the time tools or experience to make a replacement handle. Was wondering if some here could make one for me.

Cooncat Bob made them, but he passed quite a few years ago. It’s very rare they come up for sale these days. It doesn’t sound particularly difficult so it may be worth your while to make an inquiry to a seller on Etsy that fits your style that makes custom Gillette fusion handles.

What material do you want for the handle? It looks like the attachment of the handle to the head would be a press fit/glue joint.

Also, where are you located?

The one in the picture above is deer antler. But I would be ok with anything other than that cheap plastic handle. Also I'm in South Carolina.

Speaking as a woodturner, but without that twist razor head in my hands, that doesn't look like a particularly difficult project. A dense, fine-grained wood or an acrylic (lots of attractive blanks) would be good materials.

The antler handle in your example is a simple profile. The primary issue would be getting the correct fit, effective glue, and a clean look at the joint. A person who turns pens would be ideal for the project.

Pen turning is a very popular hobby. A local woodworking supply store (or some internet forum) might connect you to someone nearby.

Another approach would be to attach a short M5x0.8 metric bolt into the head, again with a strong join (heavy duty epoxy?) and decent aesthetic. Then any standard handle could be used (and swapped) with the twist head. With epoxy you would probably only get one chance to get the bolt straight.
