Is this the vintage everybody is in love with?

I was PIF'ed a Williams shave stick by a great member on this board.

The stick is red with JB Williams Cranford NJ on the label. Since I am only familiar with the current production Williams ... My guess is this is the Tallowy goodness everybody raves about.

Am I right???

That sounds like some of the really good stuff The sticks in the red tube were rose scented. I was lucky enough to find one that still has quite a fragrant punch. Scented or not, those sticks are outstanding lather producers!

I believe so Brian. One way to find out how good it is is to shave with it, the vintage is better, though the one I'm using smells a tad like liniment

Now that you mention it I gave it another sniff.... the Rose is definitely there ...also included was a tube of Coates Superior Rose Shaving Cream....
