Is this really a "Best Badger" or a "Pure Badger?

I'm just guessing here, but some brush mfrs. will sell the same brush with different grades of hair. So the West coast brush would be best badger, and the other one would be the same brush in pure badger. As for the Crabtree and Evelyn brush, I believe they are made by Edwin Jagger. The EJ best badger brush is highly recommended as a great value for the money. See links here:

That would definitely be very confusing... :sad:
 
There are no standards so they can call them whatever they want. If your talking about top of the line like Rooney Finest or Simpson Super very few makers use that grade. Vulfix does not.
