Is this real life?

Ask me about shaving naked!
Yes, 1 foot by 2 feet by almost 2". That's a piece of rock. But you can make an offer, of which there have been 7. IMO, his asking price is usually about 3x what you could get a similar or better stone from dealers with a proven track record to members here. So lets be charitable and say he expects to get no more than $7k for it.

Cheers, Steve

Honestly? If I were really well off and could pull a $1000 gamble, I'd pay 1k for it (I'm not). But not much more without getting to use it first. 330mate is if memory serves a Miner and can't really attest that the stone is good for razors or whatever. I'm sure he knows rocks and probably can identify toxic veins and the like, but knowing the quality of the stones in use... I have my doubts. If I could use it and found it to be everything and a bag of chips (and could afford it) yeah, I'd do $20k for it... I'm sure I could get a stone just as good for far less, but if you're that rich you'd own it as much as a collector/conversation piece as you'd own it for use: but honestly at that point, I'd be rich enough to pay for a trip to Japan to try the stone out in person and take it home with me.

If I was that rich I would pay for a trip to Belgium and extract a coticule through Ardennes and watch it from mountain till finish. But alas, I am not either. I did not start this thread in bad taste. I know nothing about jnat's, and didn't notice the size either. Just the price tag is what surprised me.

Is this the real life?
is this just fantasy?
