Is this a crazy auction, or what?

That is indeed a crazy auction. Seems to be that one guy put up a rather high max bid on this one and another bidder was finding out his max bid. Either someone wants this package badly to complete his or her collection or someone lost his mind.

I know that complete packages tend to be worth a few bucks but not that much. With still 10 hours to go I assume it will reach 200$ near the end of the auction.

I dunno...but I bought most of my razors from ebay 3 years ago and the prices weren't as ridiculously high as I see them now for razors in worse condition than the ones I bought.
Still 6 hours to go on a superspeed in a worn cardboard box...razor looks good (new)...but $157 and still 5 bidders battling it out.

This one I am totally blown away by. A Super Speed?!?!?!?!? I bought mine for between $5 and $15. Granted, they aren't minty at all, but really pretty nice looking ones seem to go for around $25.

What really gets me is that this thing is already more than a British aristocrat #16/66 (seems to be the same razor in a different box) that went for $123 last week brand new in box. How in the heck is this worth more?

Worth every penny. The newness of the piece and the wrapper on the blades alone put it up there. You don't find them like that now a days.

The first one has a torn lid, this one doesn't. Buy them both and put the blades with the nice box. Then sell the torn box and razor for $20. Then you have got a deal!
