It certainly looks like the 460B. It's one of the few Single Rings sold in a metal case. The outside of the case should be smooth with no pattern.

It is at that Len! Thank you so much!! Yet another treasure I found in by boxes of razors that have been stashed in the garage for many years! I am down to the absolute last box of goodies! ( I said that before, but I finally located box # 4!)

No, but it has the US pat # shown on your case stamped on the handle. Nov 15.04

The Nov. 15 04 date is on nearly every Old Type razor made before 1920. It only means something if it is missing. Achim's 460B set was made in Great Britain and has the multi country pat dates on the bottom. Both your and my set don't have the pat dates on the bottom but have the made in U.S.A. lettering over the Gillette diamond on the inside cover. However I'm convinced that both sets, with and without the patent country's are 460B sets. If I'm wrong somebody will chime in.
