Senator is a better bet. The same razor I bright chrome. The Sheratons tend to show up with the gold worn off and brass showing.Glad you liked the shave, my next razor is a Sheraton, if I can find one reasonable!!!

I wanted a Sheraton for many years. When I found one, it was $10 and was completely worn out. It shaved well enough that I sent it to Chris at back Roads Gold for a gold replate & now it looks like a showpiece.Glad you liked the shave, my next razor is a Sheraton, if I can find one reasonable!!!

I believe that there was a rare 1946 Ranger Tech with end caps.Gillette don't seem to ever mention a Ranger Tech finished in gold. The Ranger Tech was manufactured in 1941 only.
It could be possible for an owner of a Ranger Tech to have one gold plated aftermarket.
