Hello - I recently acquired a Kampfe Bros. Star razor with most of its accessories (including two pristine blades in tins), but the brass retainer that holds the top of the blade in place seems to be missing. Is there anyone in the community who does restoration that could fabricate the rather small piece and attach it to the brass section still remaining on the razor, or is it simply a wash and a display-only piece (which I'd rather not have)? It is also missing the blade holder for stropping, and although I'd like to find that piece it's not as crucial as the blade top retainer. I'm new at this, but I do like this razor aesthetically quite a lot and believe in making things _work_ and using them. Can anyone help?
