Is the Semogue SOC boar a good brush?

Are you referring to all Semogue brushes or just the SOC? I ask because the only SOC boar brushes I have ever seen advertised with wooden handles indicate either Ash or Cherry.

I was referring to all Semogue wooden handled brushes. Some sellers identify the wood and other do not. Based on what others said, it sounds like it's up to the seller which types of wood they want to stock.
