Is my Razor broken?

First post greetings from Connecticut!
Ok, so my Merkur Futur Safety Razor suddenly began shaving poorly on one side of the blade. I tried changing the blade, resetting the height, but to no avail. My question is, has this happened to anyone else, and if so, have you been able to fix it?

Can you be more specific as to what it is doing? Have you tried to clean it? Move the adjuster etc?

Chris, I don't know if there's some advanced way of cleaning it. I took off the blade, brushed it a bit with a brush to remove the stubble, tried moving the adjuster to and fro the extremes. Then I added a new blade and adjusted it to the position I like and it still was not working right.
Let me explain best as I can what it's doing. It's as though only parts of the blade are touching my face, specifically at the edges of the blade (lengthwise). The other side of the head (blade) works just fine.

PipeCat your shaving device has nothing, only to be opened and cleaned completely.
Some time ago, my device presented this symptom, I opened I completely cleaned with water and shampoo then I fixed mechanisms Oil lubricated, reassembled, and working correctly now.
Here is a link that is shown disassembly device http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jo5j_4xgORM .

When assembling the unit, I do not just like the video, do not overlap the upper line but put them in the cross, because when it comes anywhere device collect complete steps 4 or 6 position, not the position 1 as it was before it opened .
I apologize for my English.

Brosnan, I went ahead and cleaned the razor. It was great to be able to take it apart. It was dirty inside and I am hoping this helps. I will report back, next time I shave. Thanks for your advice!

Brosnan, it's still broken. I guess it got bent or something. Oh well, it was worth the try! Thanks again for your help.

Question...did you begin experiencing your problem after taking your razor apart and putting it back together? If so, you may have put it together incorrectly...a common issue with the Futur. Try this...remove cap and blade, loosen and remove blade support with neck assembly, rotate blade support 180 degrees inside neck assemble, reinstall. Hope this helps solve your problem.

Duke, no. The problem started before I took apart my razor. I think perhaps it fell from it's perch and hit the bath tub, having bent the heavy metal in some way. In which case, there's not much I can do about it.
