What's new

Is it too early for RAD?

So I've been using my new DE (Muhle R89) for a week and a half now. I'm getting some DFSes routinely. As I've been sifting through the posts here on B&B, I find myself wanting to get a second to see what I'm missing. To that end, I've been thinking of trying to find a '40s SS. Any advice on whether this is a good second one to go for?

Why not try a Merkur HD, or a Merkur Slant?

You have a fine razor already, but I know how curiosity is. I'd look into one of the vintage Gillette adjustables, like a Slim or Fatboy. Both are great shavers and will give you a different experience.

It's good that you have RAD right now. It shows a passion for the art.
there are a great many razors to try. If you don't like them, you can always sell them for what you paid (in most cases).
