Is it ok to write a thread like this?

I asked an ebayer who sells enders speed blades whether he could sell just one pack(He sells them 5 packs as a lot)

And he contacted me a few moment ago, saying he has 70 packs of them. And he asked me how much the acceptable price for a pack would be.

Can I gather some opinion here and let him know the result?

I would tell him "1/5 the price of a lot minus shipping, with shipping costs then tacked on, plus perhaps a nominal fee for your troubles." And then ask him for a figure. Shipping might be a good portion of his cost.

Thats what I'd do too. Divide the price of a 5 pack lot by 5 and work out the shipping.
