Is anyone else put off by the name ROONEY?

This may only affect my fellow englishmen, but does anyone else feel put off Rooney brushes because of this gent. Actually I use the word gent quite wrongly, what i mean is footballist or thug.

Either way, if I were to get Rooney brush (which i'm not thinking about at the moment for the record) then I'd constantly expect it to sprout cauliflower ears, drink the pub dry of lager then go out for a fight.

Just so long as he doesn’t start using a cut throat razor and sticks to football, I see no reason for the association.

Mind you, I don’t think of razor blades when I pass the Proctor and Gamble/ Gillette Research Centre near Gillette Way you know just down the road from the Madejski Stadium were all those fine upright citizens play football for your town.
