I bought one of the above strops from the Invisible Edge website in the UK and it turned up a couple of days later. Initially I was quite surprised by the surface as it is a little rough, like suede, but after a bit of Dovo yellow strop paste it now looks a bit more like a regular strop surface! It's certainly not as shiny as my basic Dovo strop.
First thing I noticed was that it makes such a difference stropping on leather that is as wide as the blade, certainly speeds my stropping action up a bit! I like the draw of it, there is definitely a bit more resistance there than my Dovo strop, and the quality of the stitching appears to be fine. The leather is fairly thick too. Only issue for me was that they don't do a version with a linen / canvas back, but I can live with that!
