welcome to the forum! It's a great place - I am fairly new here, too - got some really nice hints and tricks and never thought of myself. As already mentioned:
It's like in "The Matrix":
You take a cartridge razor... the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever beard you have is OK. You take a DE razor... you will stay in this forum, and the gents here will show you how deep the rabbit hole goes."
"Free you mind!" (...but don't try to jump from high buildings, though...)
