Came in today. No oil whatsoever. Evidence of wire edges having been ripped off something fine. Porous but purges quickly after wiping off. Stupidly hard. It took a good while with sic wet dry to generate that pittance of slurry. Going to be a bad one to lap. 732.7g. 20cm x 5.1cm x 2.9cm. Will post more when I clean the thing up.

No clue this time. When it is really good and dry it goes a milky whitish green and all those other features are sort of orange.

Reset an old le grelot and finished it on this till I felt like the feedback had stalled. The hht and treetop are violent but it isn't showing any signs of a foil. Going to try this later. Edges which react like that give me pause. It's definitely going to shave but who knows if it will be comfortable or if it is way too highly strung. At least it isn't a spike point like the last time I started testing an unfamiliar rock..

Shave went fine. I haven't shaved in several days because of a dermatitis flare up so it had a nice challenge given my beard is rough, goes in several directions, and I am currently pretty intolerant of anything uncomfortable to shave with. Vid 1 is treetop off the rock, 2 is just me holding a camera with one hand and the first swipe down a cheek without stretching my skin.
