It would probably be less costly to buy a real shaving brush.

As excited as I am that something like a shaving brush would show up as a DIY project, I cringe at the thought of lathering up with those bristles!
thats a noble attempt I am sure, but at which point did one of that person's friends not smack him and just hand him a VDH boar brush and then take the change to go buy a couple 40s?
Yikes! That brush is scary looking. 
Wow that is scary!! One could even make a Badger hair brush using the high quality Badger hair paint brushes, but they are pretty expensive, so one can buy a decent brush already for the same money.

Not that I think it would be worth much of anything, I think it would be kinda neat to make and use just once to say that I have shaved with my own hand-made shaving brush.
Hmmmm, hope that brush hadn't been used to paint before...lol.

I think the intent was to lather with varnish or paint
This is all just part of the plan to prepare everyone for the shavepocolypse.

I'm sorry. That's hilarious. Its like watching some kid slap 22" spinners on a Dodge Neon. But even better. What makes it even better, you ask? The fact that he made two of them. Look at the last pic, there's another with a gas-fitting handle.
The only way to improve on this would to be to have him lathering up with Cool Whip. And then shaving with an Atra. True luxury shaving. Sweet!
