I think my Institut Karité puck might be spoiling-it's starting to turn beige (from pure white) and has developed a slight ammonia like scent??? I was shaving with it the other day and I noticed the lather scent was off-like skunky; seemed fine two days prior. I've had this soap for almost exactly 1 year and have maybe 20-30 shaves in it, and always let it dry before I store it in a tin. Anyone else have this happen? I'm gonna keep it out in the air for a couple days and see what develops but I think it might be cashed.

I think you're right. At least the fragrance might be turning. I had a puck of Tabac do that once. It sucked.

Haha yes unfortunately my IK is starting to "sting the nostrils...but NOT in a good way" 
You definitely need to throw it out if it starts smelling like "a used diaper full of burnt hair and indian food".
