Injector vs DE blade longevity?

I was wondering, how many shaves do you get with an Injector loaded with a German Schick blade or a Featherjector compared to a good DE blade?

So far, I seem to get about the same results although there is only one edge on the Injectors.

I would think it's about twice as long for a DE blade, but I usually get 6 sometimes 8 good shaves and then it's done.

Schick used to advertise that their injector blades were 2-3 times as thick as a DE blade. If that is true, perhaps they hold an edge longer. So, maybe their useful life is about equal.

No questions about it, the Schick blades last at least 2X longer than any DE, even when cnsidering both sides of the DE....

Thanks for the feedback. First, I would have thought that those would have lasted half the time of a DE.... Well, I guess I need to go try one now....
