I just bought a schick stick off the bay ant it the piece of metal underneath the blade holder is loose and rattles. Is it supposed to do this. Is the something else that slides in the razor to tighten this up? I was so excited to get my first injector and it bombed. What is the injector key I see references to? Any help much appreciated.

Is there a blade in it?
I bought a Stick with the same problem - nope, it's not supposed to do that. I don't think there's a fix for it.

It does it with or without a blade.

It depends on the model, there was quite recently a post on how you can bend the spring with pliers to tighten it up. http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=137589&highlight=schick+spring+pliers Thanks to my neighbor Chris I did fix one of my Type E's this way
