I have that exact razor- it is a really smooth and nice shaver! Good buy!

I'm with ya there brother, made a few $10 offers for some hard to find objectors, quickly turned down, just a matter of time before I'm banned...good times bro.
The J1 is my Favorite for performance & the long handle is great for Head Shaving, Legs for the Ladies. I had the Easy Rider and it shaves like the J and also has a long handle, nice score on both.
What did you use to clean the gold plating?

twice i used generic scrubbing bubbles, soak then clean with a toothbrush. wasnt satisfied with that so I then used some good ole white colgate toothpaste and toothbrush. I dont have a sunshine cloth or any polish for metal. I use the ol fashion stuff.
Great...thanks! Nice razor. I just got one like it recently myself. Need to clean it. One thing I've noticed is to NOT use rubbing alcohol on gold.

im tellin ya boss, you cant beat some plain white cheap toothpaste and a brush. thanks for the tip on not using alcohol, i didnt know that!
