Had a guys night with two friends from high school Saturday night, and indulge we did.

Started off splitting a 750ml bottle of Delirium Nocturnum
Followed by a couple rounds of Edmund Fitzgerald Porter
Old Rasputin
Split a 750ml bottle of Trois Pistoles
Split a 22oz. bottle B.O.R.I.S. The Crusher Oatmeal-Imperial Stout
and finished the evening spliting a 22oz. bottle of Stone Old Guardian.

It was quite an evening.

while I tend to stick to scotch, tonight it's a snifter of Stone Hill Cream Sherry and cavendish in a Petersons kildare bent bulldog.

I recently picked up a Wasatch/Squatter's growler, and I try to fill it every Friday night with something different.
Tonight we have Cap'n Bastard's Oatmeal stout. :thumbup1:

Last night:
Dogfish head Theobroma (Ale brewed w/Chile and Chocolate.... REALLY good).

tonight:
Sierra Nevada 30th Anniversary
Rogue Imperial Pils
and a flanders Sour (i forget which one at the moment... I'll report back later).

Wish I could get other Dogfish beer here. I can only find the 60 minute IPA so far.

Tonight, to start with, is home brewed strawberry mead

Spent the day (and the past couple of evenings) with my oldest boy at a hunter safety course. Don't know yet if he'll be into getting up with the old man before dawn but he learned a lot and had a great time.

Topped the day off with a dram of MaCallan.

Tonight: Simon Rattle/Berlin phil Brahms Requiem & Avery The Reverend quadruple

Later this week St Bernardus ABT 12 (aaaamazing stuff!) and Avery Salvation (Belgian strong Blond Ale).

The Flanders from a few nights ago was the Monk's Cafe Oud Bruin, if anyone cares. Very funky beer. Glad I tried it, and I thought it was good, but I won't be rushing out to get another

I went to see "The Expendables" last night. As I'm watching the movie, what do I see? Sly with an AF OpusX. In honor of all the butt kicking I saw, I came home and had one myself.
