Indian Old Spice - eBay Sellers Hall Of Shame

On 8th August, I ordered what I was led to believe was a 150ml bottle of Old Spice Musk by Shulton in good faith. Although more than I usually pay for Rubicon Old Spice from trusted suppliers, at the time I believed that €13,26 including free shipping from India to Spain was a fair price for what looked like a better product in the listing.
Yesterday the postman delivered an atomizer bottle of Old Spice Musk by Rubicon.
I don't mind the Rubicon Old Spice, I had ordered the 150ml Shulton Old Spice to replace the 100ml bottle of Rubicon Old Spice that was nearly empty, but I hate atomizer bottles, and because I was expecting a better product, I felt as though I'd been ripped off.

I sent a message to kramaah-online explaining the situation, they replied within a couple of hours and insulted my intelligence that the names Old Spice and Shulton were owned by Proctor & Gamble and their products are manufactured in India by Rubicon, and included links (that don't work) to Old Spice and Proctor & Gamble.
They said that if I had been sent the wrong item, I had to upload photos so that they could send a replacement or refund my money.
I get the impression that they just inserted my name at the top of a draft because this is a regular problem.

I uploaded photos as re-iterated that their listing is very misleading because they imply that they are selling a better product to the other eBay sellers, stated the glaring fact that the photo on their listing is totally different to what they sent me, and just for good measure I said that I think that their eBay listing is fraudulent.

Today I got a full refund on PayPal, curiously the exchange rate was calculated as €14,05 so I've got a free bottle of Old Spice Musk, and, at least on paper, I made a small profit.
Whether I leave negative, neutral or positive feedback depends on if they even bother to reply to my message.
Whatever happens - I'll definitely block kramaah-online and when my Old Spice bottles are nearly empty - I'll order replacements from a more reliable supplier

Meanwhile, this is the eBay listing

Here's what was sent to me instead of what I ordered - a different animal entirely

I'm not saying don't buy from http://www.ebay.es/usr/kramaah-online?_trksid=p2060353.m2748.l2754
I just wouldn't recommend that particular seller to my worst enemy !!

Has anybody else had a bad experience buying Old Spice from eBay sellers in India to add to the Hall Of Shame?

I've checked probably every Ebay seller from India for the Original, Musk and Lime aftershaves, and I've seen those Shulton ads. I knew there was no way it could be a vintage Shulton bottle based on those prices, because based on the inventory available on their page at the time, it would be impossible. Did you email them with the question before you purchased the item?

I had purchased 6 tubes of Old Spice shaving cream (2 tubes each of original, lime and musk) from the seller you used, Kramaah-Online. for a very good price. There was a delay and I received updates from the seller explaining that the product was being held for checking India. I eventually received it in excellent condition. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that the formulas have been revised, and the creams don't smell nearly like original OS, musk or lime anymore.

There's another Ebay seller from India called Namaste.world. I emailed them a few months ago because they had an ad for the shaving cream tubes that contained photos of the original boxes. I asked if this was the old formula and never received a response. I just noticed that Namaste.world has two different listings of shaving cream tubes for the same price, each with different photos. One listing has the old boxes and one listing has the new packaging while both use the name "Shulton". You can be pretty sure it's definitely not vintage creams produced by Shulton (see image below).

By the way, if you check your link and look at Kramaah-Online's Ebay store, you'll notice that he's no longer selling any Old Spice products and only has one item listing. What's interesting is that I just checked my email. and back in February, Kramaah-Online told me they didn't sell atomizers.

Was doing a search today and found out the WCS sells the real stuff from India. Also an Amazon vendor sells the same. With both, there would be some protection as WCS is a B&B vendor and pretty reputable, and the Amazon vendor need to play by Amazon rules.

What rules?

Take a look at the description (using the name Shulton) of Old Spice by these 3rd party resellers on Amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/Old-Spice-After-Shave-Lotion/dp/B00JZYG1LY/

https://www.amazon.com/FRAGRANCE-NET-Spice-Shulton-FragranceNet/dp/B00U37391M/

https://www.amazon.com/Old-Spice-Lotion-Original-Shulton/dp/0007746466/

My favorite is the 2nd one. Not only does it use "Shulton"in the description while the bottle is clearly Classic Old Spice, but it also states "from Fragrancenet" , yet look who the seller is:

The reason for this is that when one 3rd party reseller runs out, the link url remains the same but it's given to another 3rd party reseller. That's also the case when the original link is a direct from Amazon sale.

Tsk. Adam, I was a victim of the same seller like a day or so after you. I just left it at that and cross this seller off of my list.

Btw, it is a copy paste, I also really received the same response.

Now it is clear in my mind that they are intentionally misleading the buyers.

I thought I was buying Shulton, but received the same box as you, only Original scent.
