Increase razor aggressiveness with blade age?

Does anyone increase the aggressiveness of their razor on the third or fourth shave with a blade? For example, on my Fatboy, I may increase agro by one click on the third shave for most blades.

(A few blades made out of very hard and brittle metal like Feathers I will not do this. Such blades do not roll back as they get used, they tend to break and fracture, so increasing exposure is the wrong thing to do with a used Feather - disposal is. )

I've never intentionally increased the aggressiveness of a blade over its life. I may have unintentionally done it while experimenting with adjustable razors setting though. With shaving everyone is different but I think I myself would just keep it at one setting and leave it. I have sensitive skin as it is and would not want to increase any risk of irritation.

you can extend the life of a blade quite a bit that way. I have done that when I could not find a new blade.

I've taken blades that I thought were goners, shoved them in one of my slants and shaved several more days with them.

Something about the slant makes a worn blade jump back to life

I wonder if a RazoRock OC would be a good step up from an EJ89 for the blades like Astra SPs as they get duller?
