In Memoriam

I just received word today that my friend's dad died. He's been fighting cancer for a few years, and today the end finally came. I wasn't particularly close with him, but I knew him well enough to be comfortable around him, and I'll miss him. Even worse for me is knowing the pain my friends are going through, and knowing there's nothing I can do about it.

Anyway, I thought it would be nice to have a memorial thread, not just for Terry, but for all of our loved ones. Raise a glass and light a smoke in someone's memory.

I will be in a couple of days. We're about 250 miles apart, but I'll be headed down this weekend.
