Just wanted to give some appreciation for what I'd call a workhorse in wet shaving, Nivea Sensitive Balm. It's a great balm, it's light on scent, no alcohol (could be a con for some), and is relatively cheap. It's a no-muss, no-fuss performer. I enjoy it with morning shaves before work or evening shaves before bed. Sometimes in winter months, I do a pea-sized dab of Nivea balm then an alcohol-based splash in my palm, mix them together, then apply to my face.
This is one product that will always be in the den.
