I'm continually amazed by Tabac!

I am lucky enough to have plenty of soaps and creams in my rotation and am always pleased when I return to the Tabac bowl (as I did this morning). A simple Pure Badger brush, a few swirls in the bowl and BAM! Enough lather for 4 passes, even though I only made 2
For those of you sitting on the fence and wondering whether or not it is worth trying................ it is!

It is Very easy to lather.Used it my last few shaves to see how I liked it.Liked it better than cella but can't say I appreciate either.Just my opinion.

My bowl didnt get much love. Smelled too old man-ish to me. After using it a while it grew on me. Now I think it's pretty classy. I wouldnt want to wear the scent on me all day, but during shaving it's nice. It pairs well with most aftershaves. AV, Old Spice, Bay Rum, etc.

The packaging is top knotch as well. I wish other soaps came in a similar ceramic bowl. Wood bowls are nice, but not nearly as effective or nice looking.

It's true. I have heard whispers that some disagree. But their mileage is wrong.

Just reading the name of this soap brings a smile to my face. I love its scent and the way it lingers on your face, sending little whifs of Tabac towards your nose every now and again during the day. It is simply heavenly and I must shave with it soon again.

I make what I consider to be some of the best soaps in the world that I have tuned into exactly the qualities I consider perfect in a soap and it would take me five or ten minutes to list off all the great old tallow vintages I've used.

I've still not found anything that is clearly better than tabac for performance. Some match it. Some may even be a hair better, but really, performance-wise there's no room to improve on Tabac, at least not enough to make anything noticeably better. I've only ever found ONE way to make anything other than excellent lather from tabac, and that is so obviously the fault of your hardware that it's almost laughable.

I think its a great soap. It lathers up in no time. The scent is barbershop like. and provides a great shave. glad i bought my puck.
