iKon OSS Handle + KCG head = compatibility?

Just a quick one - I have the King C. Gillette DE safety razor and really like how it shaves.
However, the handle feels not so comfortable while shaving.

I mean that Gillette:

So, do you think that the iKon OSS Handle would be compatible with that Gillette's head?

Just saw an offer for the iKon handle and wondering should I order it, because I couldn't find any info concerning its threading.

The threads should be the same. From current production only Fatip uses a special thread so you should be good.

I didn't know Fatip used a different thread thanks for the information.

Regular is M5 and Fatip uses M4. Sometimes standard handles seem to fit but I’m not sure if only part of thread catches respectively if you hurt the thread so I used Fatips only with their original handles.

Funnily my Fasan Doppelschräg head fits the Fatip handle perfectly.

I was gonna try and get a slightly bigger solid brass handle for my Fatip piccolo but I'll just be happy with what I've got ☺ and thanks once again for the information.

I have the same King C. Gillette and an ikon B1 slant with bulldog handle. I believe all the ikon handles are the same thread. I swapped the handle and took a pic for you.

In very rare cases the screw part of the cap is too long or the mating between plate and handle is off so that you can’t tighten it properly. From my 30ish razors (current and vintage) there is only one that gives me this kind of trouble so you really should be safe.
