IKon "Dual Action" razors, thoughts?

Lately I have been using a two razor shave and have been getting consistent, great results. I make my first WTG pass with a Tradere 1st gen OC to mow down the heavy growth, then I clean up with XTG and ATG passes with a Tradere SB. Like I said, I get great results, but cleaning up 2 razors daily is a bit of a drag, so I'm starting to explore the idea of iKon's dual action razors.

I was hoping to get some opinions on the OSS, SK9, 2PB or S3S before I post a WTB on B/S/T.

Owners, what are your impressions of these razors? If you also own either of the Traderes, how do they compare?

Thanks, gents. Cheers!

I have the Ikon OSS, IKON Deluxe Open Comb and the Tradere Open Comb.

The OSS is much more mild than the Tradere OC and the Ikon Deluxe OC. Of the three I think I prefer the Ikon Deluxe OC.

I have the iKon OSS. I tend to use just the open comb side, but I really like the idea of being able to flip it around to the straight bar side for abut of clean up/buffing. I think it's a great razor, and the handle is pretty substantial.

I love my iKon razors and highly recommend them. I just sold my OSS razor head, but it was a great razor. It sounds like the OSS might be exactly what you're looking for. Even if you end up not liking it for whatever reason, you will be able to sell it very fast. The OSS is highly regarded.

I didn't think much of the shave of the OSS. It did look great though.

I have kept my S3S and H2O. The S3S is brilliant and the H2O is a great everyday shaver.

Love my OSS.

Both sides work about the same for me.

Usually WTG on the OC side, ATG finish pass with the SB side.

Mild, but a close shave, seems to work great with any of my favorite blades.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I ended up buying an OSS from iKon and picked up an S3S on B/S/T. I'll try them both and then unload one of them once I figure put which one I favor...

I had both the OSS and S3S. I was very satisfied with how they performed. The fully CNC machined S3S was a real work, locked tight as a bank vault on the blade.

The only reason I sold both was because I had too many high end razors and was only using each one maybe once every couple of months.

Would I buy either one again? Sure. In fact I probably will.

I have a SK9 and I love it as it has the best of both worlds. The build quality is excellent and the weight is just right as you don't need to press hard on your face, let the weight of the razor do the work. Its a mild razor but works perfect as i have sensitive skin. Myself I love to try the OOS as I like the look of them.
