What's new

If you like Le Labo...

...then you might want to have a look at Anthropologie's new collection. They've teamed up with Le Labo to create several new fragrances. I think that there are five ranges in all. Each comes in an EdT, a solid fragrance, and a candle. Not inexpensive but not terribly pricey either. My wife and I were in the store and we briefly checked them out. I didn't come away with a strong impression of any of them--my senses were dulled by hours of shopping. Still, Mrs. Nid Hog liked a couple of them, so they might find their way onto my Christmas shopping list.

I love my Le Labo. Do you have names of the frags that they are coming out with or even links?

Here's a link to the blog Now Smell This--has a quick discussion of the project. There's also a link to a review of Belle du Soir, one of the new frags. In my quick check, Belle du Soir smelled kind of ashy and dusty--not the best of the group. However, I was in a rush and not that intent on what I was doing. The store had one of the candles burning and it smelled great.

nice catch fellas. I wish this kind of artistry went into more masculine scents, but I'll definitely check them out.

I agree with you. None of the five were anything that I would remotely consider wearing, but they're at a nice price point for the holiday season if you are shopping for presents for women who would appreciate something like this.

Thanks for the NST link.

The frags bottles and prices are outstanding!

It's too bad they all look so femme though... they don't even seem to be marketing unisex at all. Im not sure why im surpised though.
