If you don't like old spice.

The wife is not fond of the old spice fragrance; and because I usually order most shaving gear online and can’t smell for myself. I am curious what those are using for aftershave that don't like old spice.

I like Old Spice, but honestly as long as it's not a "spice" based scent, you should be good. AquaVelva, Skin Bracer, even SOME Bay Rums may be good for her. Florida Water and such are all citrusy.

Do you mean she likes spicy scents but just not Old Spice? Or does she not like the spice scents at all? There are other scents like Master's Spice or Topaz that have spice but do not smell a lot like Old Spice.

aqua velva splash. Adiddas - choose your scent but the grey "impules" i think, is very popular. Check out the ingredients on it. Comparable to other good products (I did my research).
I use these and proraso. Proraso is my favorite daily "affordable" a/s thus far. Just great. Aqual velva and addidas close behind. I have yet to try Lucky Tiger aftershave and been meaning to.

But proraso is still a bit steep for me on account of how much i love a/s.

Try some of the citrus-based scents: Lime Sec, 4711, Citrus Musk, etc.

I'd be surprised if asking people who don't like Old Spice what they do like is going to find you aftershave that you and your wife like. The logic is off...

Trial and error work because its a personal thing.

Also, wives votes don't count as much because most aftershaves fade dramatically in an hour or so. Colognes are a different story.

Thank you all for the input, So far, Proraso, aqua velva splash, and some citrus based a/s, will be given a try. I will say she doesn't mind a bay rum that I have, it is more of an herb scent.

I'm not a real fan of Old Spice myself and my wife would give me the "eye" followed by a "no" if I bought any lol. When I do want something spicy in the winter I do like Royall Spyce it's nice and spicy without having that "Old Spice" smell.

I have a good amount of aftershaves but my wife mainly likes the "newer" style scents. The list in order of "her" favs are:
Floid Black
Nivia Splash
Royall Lyme
Proraso Green Tea & Oat
Royall Mandarin
Gillette Splash
Adidas Splash
